Just huge lies to protect their incomes and profits. Then came a long Kate Raworth, with the economic masterpiece “doughnut economics” a MUST READ for anyone who cares about our planet. She put forward a solution that can save the precious planet we share with all other life.To get a handle on what we are up against we need to read “silent coup” by Claire provost and Matt kennard. probably the most revealing work for some time. It exposes the raw truth of how the 0.01% control our politics, our financial system, and much more.Recently Yannis Varafoukis, published his standout book, ‘techno-feudalism’ ,again highlighting the capture by the corporate elites of our planet.The problem with our fight back to save all our life on our planet is to stop our base proclivities. To do this we need to all stop our specialised silo thinking.We need to get familiar with all disciplines to understand the unitive perspective,it Is no good being an effective environmentalist and conservationist unless you under stand the fundamental flaws in our economic system that headline selfishness that is born by massive hoarding of the worlds capital by the 0.01%

 

Elkhart Tolle with his world-acclaimed “New Earth” yet another easy read that helps to understand the frailty of our species and gives hope to a besieged majority. He highlights an understanding how we become our own prisoners to the incessant insanity of our egoic minds, and how to break free to the unitive encompassing enlightenment.

The strap line is “how the corporations overthrew democracy”. I am reading through this at the moment, It says it all, the revealing nature of power and control that has meant , that as David Graeber warned us all, an  illusion of democracy and how the media and governments were totally captured.

You will never trust a mainstream economist to give you the heads-up on the complexities of our modern world ever again. He followed this up with “Can we ever avoid another financial crisis “ in 2017. His latest book is “the New Economics”published in 2022., this was his suggested remedy to the alternatives to the faith based mess , in this he endorsed Kate Rawoths “Doughnut Economics”.
